A week of a lot of firsts...

I am finally trying to slow down and be a better mom to my kids. By better, I mean spend more quality time with them and do activities. In theory this sounds great... however, Kyle is not your typical child... or I guess he is. What us moms think is supposed to be a fun time for our kids, can sometimes turn into a nightmare, like Kyle's first swim lesson. Thank god, last night he did much better. Soccer however, he seemed to like... only because my child is going to be a runner... that is all he likes to do is run. Soccer involves running, so he likes it. He was so cute in his uniform. I was so excited he put the entire outfit on, even his shin guards... I was satisfied with that. He was pretty good for his first time playing soccer too!

Going Backwards... Easter with Coco

Easter is always fun, especially now with the kids. Coco (Kyle and Caden's cousin) is a crack up! We are pre-arranging Kyle and her wedding... (just kidding). It is classic to watch Kyle and Coco chase each other, especially when Coco was wearing her "wedding dress". Caden got into the Easter egg hunt, and Kyle was so specific on the eggs he wanted in his basket. We did the El Segundo Easter egg hunt for the first time this year too. What a trip. Kyle and Caden's age groups went at the same time... of course. So because Tome was busy working, my dad took Kyle and I took Caden. Caden's age group, the parents were allowed in the roped section with the kids... what a joke. Parents were honestly pushing kids out of the way for eggs. Apparently they throw out one golden egg that you can exchange in for some wonderful basket of crap...
Caden got his basket full of eggs... and Kyle... he got one egg and was over it. Did get a picture with the bunny this year, so that was cool too. Kyle discovered dying eggs and I made the mistake of letting him go to town without really paying attention. My counter is still swirly tie dyed... but it looks kind of cool. I guess the one good thing about living in a house you know you are going to bull doze... you don't care what the kids do to it.

We're BAAAAAck... I think... I'll try...

So after an almost two month vacation from the blog... the Baldocchi boys are back. So much has happened in two months. Kyle has officially hit the terrible "3's"... and let me tell you... it's a lot of fun. He thinks he is 12, and sometimes acts like it. Caden has become Kyle's official punching bag and mom and dad are not happy. Poor Caden knows no different. For the most part, the Baldocchi boys are wonderful happy boys and I am glad my busy life has come to a halt ... for the moment ... to allow me to spend time with them.
Daddy got to take the week off work and we took the boys to the zoo with our favorite people, Summer, Riley and Braden (Tom had to work). Never a picture of mom... I am invisible...

My little boy is three today... an official boy. I can't believe how big he is. Newly potty trained

(thank god) and full of smart things to say. Some of my favorites... "Thanks for listening mom", or "your a good helper" ... or "that's the biggest poop I ever seen in the whole entire world", (yes it's true... we are partied out. Spent a wonderful birthday with Riley (whom Kyle met while still in the belly at lamaze with his mommy). It was such a fun time. I love my boo and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful kind hearted boy!
